BRIDLINGTON
...The principle coastal resort of East Yorkshire. With its wide open, sandy, safe and clean southern beach being perhaps its biggest asset. Particularly for families with young children.
With much money spent in recent years, Bridlington has much to offer with amusements, swimming pool - with wave machine, wide open promenades and for the future a multi million pound marina development beckons.
The Spa concert hall has just been refurbished, which is set to attract major artists.
However my recommendation would be to travel further along the coast and visit some of the more remote, quieter and altogether more prettier coastal spots.
Such as Danes Dyke - Although not much here except a nice walk to the beach and the shoreline - car park space available.
Flamborough - especially north landing (May = Puffins, spectacular) & Bempton cliffs
