ENTHORPE
Certainly Yorkshire’s smallest village - if not the country’s!
We found it quite by accident more than 20 years ago and have been in love ever since. No matter the season ENTHORPE looks beautiful Spring, summer, autumn or winter. What’s more It seems everywhere you go is in multiples of four miles... nearest shop 4 miles... nearest pub 4 miles... nearest petrol 4 miles... nearest Tesco 4 miles... and in between, farmland, woods and open countryside... it all adds up to total peace and quiet.
With the ability to walk from the garden in complete peace and seclusion yet be surrounded by such scenery, is a real privilege. If its wildlife that rings your bell then we have a cornucopia of varieties for you to see. We have Deer, Foxes Hedgehogs, Rabbits, Hares, Pheasants, Red Kite, Buzzards, Goldfinches, Robins, Tree Sparrows, Bats, Badgers in abundance, I could go on and on but I think you get the picture.
If you are looking for candy floss, toffee apples and a one armed bandit, complete with a pub next door.... then switch off now for this isn’t your kind of holiday.
With only 3 souls on the parish register, noise is not likely to be a problem - unless its the weekend when we organise our usual rave party’s.... just kidding, its the sealed knot were into... Most weekends Julie can be seen riding her white charger dressed as King Charles and I grab my pike, horse and get my big cannon out... To date, i’ve only been arrested 3 times, but the police know me well and are extremely sympathetic...
So now we’ve introduced you to ENTHORPE, we hope you like it as much as we do.
