AT LAST - 8-5-08 12:30am Another... COLT IS DELIVERED!
Nearly 3 weeks late but i’m glad to say Floss has produced a monster... At 36 hours old he is the same size as his brother who is now 3 weeks. The birth was not as straight forward as Lizzy’s but both foal and mother , i’m happy to say, are both very well.
Flossy took to motherhood straightaway and the likeness is uncanny. Its easy to spot which one is which when they are with their mother... but when we got home and tried to sort out the photo’s ... it was a lot harder than it looked!
Our thanks go to Susan and her team at Girsonfield stud for their care and attention to detail.
We have the easy bit now preparing for the 2000 guineas and Derby in 2011.... Better get a hat bought.....
