With almost every village blessed with a pond and a pub we are truly spoilt for choice when it comes to local refreshments in beautiful surroundings. on a serious note no one we recommend knows we do or indeed knows us so you can be assured of our totally unbiased opinion.
Remember pubs like chameleons can change very quickly and whilst we endeavor to keep abreast this is merely a guide to our current recommendations .....
THE PIPE & GLASS, located in South Dalton, it boasts good beer, great food and all in a jewel like setting. It has suffered years of poor ownership but now this is currently the place to go. 4 miles
THE MALT SHOVEL at Hovingham. Great local(ish) pub with some of the best roast beef ever - go for Sunday lunch. 35 miles
THE WELLINGTON at Lund, in my opinion the one all the others are measured by, consistently great food and good beer - its not cheap but then quality never is. 4 miles.
